Tiento

Tiento is just one of several projects by this Portuguese techno producer based in Germany. He has always been involved in music, discovering this passion at a very early age whilst still a child. From the age of 10 right up to the present day, he has been collecting albums in all formats, from cassettes and vinyl to, more recently, digital formats. With this small collection back then, his adventure began first on the radio club, and later, as an adult, he embarked on his journey into the world of instrumental music, having spent some time as a percussionist in a samba group; but it was in 2020 that his adventure in the world of electronic music truly began. Always very dedicated when it comes to studying new techniques and processes, he achieved his first appearance on Beatport in record time after three intense months of study, and since then he has never stopped reaching new milestones in record time, now boasting over 50 techno tracks and more than 150 across all projects and genres. Also known on the radio for his programme ‘Electronic Hours’ or for his ‘Electronic Adventure’ podcast on YouTube, Tiento is now a role model for younger artists, many of whom he trains online. In addition to this, he is the manager of Freedom Records Germany, a label dedicated to helping new talent emerge in the music world, and also coordinates the two event organisers Fullon Germany and EXTNTION, as well as managing artists and bookings. Following this journey, Tiento can now boast of having graced major stages and performed alongside some of the world’s finest artists, whilst also impressing with his DJing skills.
